About Energolux

Energolux is a company of EnergoBit Group. It was founded in 1996 with the purpose of offering indoor lighting solutions for the Romanian market. At the beginning EnergoLux started its activity with only one employee; today there are 14 people working in Cluj-Napoca and in the subsidiary in Bucharest. The company is developing quickly and the business is focusing on realising indoor lighting systems; a huge step forward considering the fact that the new activity implies integrating the lighting fixtures and the intelligent control parts.

In 1997 Energolux starts to collaborate with Tridonic in the field of lighting accessories. The Austrian company, Tridonic and the Germans from BJB supply the necessary equipment for commissioning the Osram lighting sources.

In 2000 Energolux diversifies its activity offering unique stage lighting systems. The new activity knew a significant development, Energolux signing partnerships in this field of activity. On the part of lighting control consoles Energolux collaborates with the Israelites from Compulite; for stage projects, Luci della Ribalta and Electronic Theatre Controls. All the accessories for the stage lighting fixtures come from Rosco and Osram.

In 2001 Energolux starts a productive collaboration with Zumtobell Staff on the side of lighting fixtures and control systems. Energolux becomes in a short period of time the official partner of Zumtobell Staff in Romania.
