EnergoEco is hosting G.A.M.E.S. workshop
(10/5/2010)EnergoEco will be, in 11 and 12 May 2010, the host of the second work meeting dedicated to the G.A.M.E.S. project, after the start meeting of the project in January, which was held in
Green Active Management of Energy in IT Service (G.A.M.E.S.) has been conceived in order to develop a technical solution for increasing energy efficiency in the large computing centers, generically called as “IT Services Centers efficient from the energetic point of view”.
The project’s aim is to develop a set of innovative methodologies and tools such as Open Source ICT (Information and communication technologies) for the design and efficient management of the computing centers from the energetic point of view. G.A.M.E.S. is seeking for a solution of the future which will decrease with 25% de electricity consumption of an computing center.
